Silent Skies

"Silent Skies"

I scream into the void, but no one sees,
Caught in the echo of these silent pleas.
The stars look down with empty eyes,
A million miles away, as my hope dies.

And the sky won’t hear, the night won’t know,
Lost in the shadows, nowhere to go.
If only whispers could break through the dark,
But I’m left holding a broken heart.

Walking alone, my footsteps fade,
Searching for light that the heavens betrayed.
The moon hangs cold, but offers no grace,
While I’m chasing dreams that time won’t embrace.

And the sky won’t hear, the night won’t know,
Lost in the shadows, nowhere to go.
If only whispers could break through the dark,
But I’m left holding a broken heart.

Maybe one day, the silence will break,
Maybe the dawn will bring what I take.
Until that day, I’ll wander alone,
Lost in this journey, far from home.

And the sky won’t hear, the night won’t know,
Lost in the shadows, nowhere to go.
If only whispers could break through the dark,
But I’m left holding a broken heart.

I scream, I cry, to skies so vast,
But they remain silent, my voice won’t last.
In the quiet I stand, no one near,
Under a sky that’ll never hear.
